It's a trilogy; I won the first two from Bastard Books, and it's already up there with Stacia Kane's Downside Ghost books as series of the year for me. When we first meet the heroine of Crane's Mind Games, she has a crippling phobia of germs. With all the amazing titles that the urban fantasy genre has to offer these days Ms. Mind Games, the series' first book, was the perfect way to usher in 2012. Between the first book, Dead, Undead or Somewhere in Between, and the second, Renfield Syndrome, she finds acceptance and has it ripped away, but I assure you Rhiannon gets stronger for it. Crane does amazing plot twists - book one, Mind Games had me literally speechless once or twice as everything I thought I knew about the characters was flipped continuously.
